Sunaana Festival Coverage Kicks Off This Weekend!

As the second annual Sunaana Music and Beer festival kicks off, WRBB’s own Madi Murphy will be there to get all the coverage. Learn more about this festival below and check back this weekend for exclusive content!

Hey guys, this is Madi Murphy from WRBB and I’ll be covering the Sunaana Music and Beer Festival located in Portland, MA this weekend March 2nd and 3rd. Sunaana, which is Inuit for “What is it,” is now celebrating it’s second year by making it a 2-day, all ages event, and including offsite venues like Portland Museum of Art.

Sunaana is, “a party that brings people together by celebrating the cold by embracing the new,” and this weekend we’re being hit by a storm so it really is going to be a party in the cold up there!

More artists than ever will be performing, including three Icelandic artists that I will be taking time to cover for my weekly radio show “Icelandic Madvenger.” (Friday’s from 11am-12pm) These three Icelandic artists are Axel Flovent, Ceasetone, and JFDR, and they’ll be joined by American artists like Jeremiah Freed, The Western Den, Trove, and many more.

Be sure to check out my coverage of the festival on wrbbradio.org as well as @WRBBRadio on Instagram and Twitter! Learn more about the festival here.

Be sure to follow me on Snapchat @wrbb1049. I’ll be updating all day from Sunaana!

Signing off,

Madi Murphy
