“The Magician” by Andy Shauf

“The Magician” is our first intoxicating glimpse into Shauf’s latest release, “The Party”— a concept album built from the sifting perspectives of a handful people all attending the same party. On this track, Shauf delivers a complex sonic platter of brightly washed out guitar tones. With woozy woodwinds and deep whirling piano arrangements, the warmth of “The Magician” can only be likened to the feeling of bare feet dancing on a yellow shag carpet. It’s retro but intensely refreshing. – Adam

“Come and See Me” by PartyNextDoor ft. Drake

Mr. PartyNextDoor, hitting us in the heart with yet another sorrowful party jam. Throw in a verse by Drizzy, aka the OVO boss himself, and this song is sure to make you sway and spill your drink all over those pixel pink texts you save from your ex. – Sophie

NEW MUSIC MONDAYS

Kehlani by “Did I”

R&B’s next double threat delivers this track with confidence and swagger. Kehlani had me at the line about publishing and the chorus packs an equally gripping hook. – Quinn

This song really makes me reflect about my past life decisions as I spiral deeper and deeper into self loathing and depression. Its the jam. – Kenneth
