Lady Jams with DJ VJ and Butterball has been making a space for music made by people in marginalized gender groups for several years now. We've found it's easy to fall into a pattern of male-only artists, especially in a world where those are the ones most revered; this is a space meant to break that pattern and shine a light on the other artists who should either be recognized as historically influential or are breaking new ground.
