I'll occasionally invite guest speakers to bring alternative perspectives and ideas.

There's only one qualification for the albums I pick: that it's good. Sweet nothings whispered in a lover's ear by Gary Coleman? It always tastes better in the morning. I addition to some tasty jams, the Morning Brew will also provide upcoming shows, news on our favorite bands, and whatever else crops up in our delusional heads. "Morning brew: just like morning wood, but without all the mess."

Dirigo: "I lead," or "I direct," is the state motto of Maine, the home state of DJ Muskie. Dirigo in the Headlights is a play on words of the phrase "deer in the headlights." Mainers frequently hit deer when they are spotted in the headlights on dark roads. But Dirigo in the Headlights means something more. DJ Muskie is a fish out of water, a deer in the headlights himself, in his new town of Boston. In terms of content, DJ Muskie is all about rock n roll, and no BS. Too many stations play generic country music or pop woefully lacking in substance. Dirigo in the Headlights is all about restoring America's love of rock n roll, as well as providing clever social commentary.
