Its nepotism but its not
The both of us grew up with very musical dad's and it has played a very big part in our relationships with our fathers. They've passed that passion to us through their music and stories with their music. Our show will be an elevated and deeper dive into dad rock and our personal anecdotes with different parts of the rock, funk, hip hop, and soul genre. For example, we would start the show off with an anecdote of Sunny's dad on tour with Chicago where they played "Saturday in the Park" on a Saturday in a park on the Fourth of July. Our dad's stories and passion for music fueled a need for us to find music that would transport us to that time of nostalgia and adventure. Considering that, certain weeks we will also share personal stories of ours to shape that episode, and how we came to find our own artists.
